Branding, 2014
NYC is the home to some of the best design in the world, and of course some of the worst. This project is about finding bad branding in New York City and redesigning their logo, menu, packages and so on. The location should be my favorite place so I chose one of the restaurants where is close to my house. This restaurant is a Japanese restaurant named ‘Mimi and coco’, and the owners are sisters from Japan. The food is good! The design is cheesy Japanese cartoony, which is still cute and seems very Japanese, but I would like to try modern and simple for their characters. I simplified their images and logo, and I am using Japanese representative colors; as red black, and white.
